District 9

Now is when I tell you guys that I saw the greatest movie to show real Human nature of all time. Seriously. This movie shows exactly how humans would react to an Alien species coming to Earth. I give Peter Jackson total props for being so insightful and truthful.

My score on the movie is... none of your fucking business go see the movie yourself!

Updates ftw

Holy shit, I haven't been on here in what seems like forever... I have been terribly busy with looking for work which I finally got, having and awesome time with this chick I met a month ago, and trying not to spend too much money...

Update I guess, I was going to move but didn't cause the "friend" I was going to roommate with was being a douche, so that's why I was jobless.

The chick I met is... well, the greatest creature on the planet. To put it mildly. Shes a total geek, she likes most of the things I like, she can cook(!), and she enjoys my company. I put that last part in there because even I hate my own company most times. I met her at a bar actually, not in a one night stand thing or anything, but an actual exchange of numbers/IM handles thing. If you wanna check her out my Myspace is around here somewhere I believe and shes in my tope friends, if my Myspace isnt here... then tough shit.

But thats about it really , now piss off.

Just saw Transformers 2: Rise of the Fallen! It was AWESOME! Even better then the first, that Mike Bay has balls of steel for making such epicness.

Drinking songs and Irish love.

I first heard this song in The Bard's tale. Good song.

The Dubliners. 'nuff said.

The song Merry and Pippin sang in the Green Dragon.

Weird Al's beer song.

I think that'll be enough.

...

On the same note, my heart belongs to Ireland.

duldrums

Woo for uneventful weeks! The only things this week had to offer was the final episode of BSG (OMG! was it a doozy) and news of Bioshock 2 and all kinds of rumors around it I'm not even going to get into, mainly cause i didnt know many of them.

I picked up Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and it is pretty fun even though I suck it up on the multiplayer aspect of it. But my calling has always been RPGs, so its not surprising I suck at the FPS genre. Other then me sucking at it, it was a fun single player campaign and I have a few friends from work that play online and got me a few ranks, seeings how they are like max rank or whatever.

Another thing I had a laugh at was the Pres refering his bowling game to the special olympics, I KNEW he was gonna catch shit for that. I mean the Pres saying something the average guy would say among his guy friends! GASP! OMG HES A GUY AFTERALL!! Anyway, Palin was "shocked" by it, that dumb cunt couldnt fight her way out of a wet paper bag and shes appalled by a the Pres's premark, get over it people.

Anyway, thats it for now.

It's all a fuckin' joke.

I just got back from watching the Watchmen (heh) and I truly enjoyed it, I knew I would. I have been seeing stuff about people bitching about the story and the character depth, that's really sad yea know. People want character depth and shit and when a movie comes out that not only has that plus, PLUS, great CG and affects all they can do is bitch cause there was too much story, fuck them. Yes, understandably that alot of the depth would be better perceived from the graphic novel, but then again people don't complain about it when they read those, now do they? People just don't like that which they do not understand.

I promise no spoilers if anyone reading this has neither read or seen the Watchmen. But I will say that I was 100% understanding of Dr. Manhattan. Not to that extreme, but understanding none the less. I will also say that the movie was at least 90% of the comic, which is awesome cause the only things that were cut were bits and pieces of dialogue that wasn't really important and a couple of parts were a bit sensationalised for the movie audience, they really didn't need to but with today average movie goer, well the average movie goer has the patience of a gnat. I, for one, love a long movie... Yes yes yes, I do want it to keep me enthralled and keep me part of the reality the movie is projecting, but that doesn't necessarily mean it need super special affects and tons of money put into it. I recently watched a movie called Intermission, an Irish movie with Colm Meeney, aka Miles O'Brien from Star Trek which is the only reason I picked it up but it turned into a really good fucking movie. It didn't have a massive budget and super affects and it kept me wanting more.

I give the Watchmen an A, and I give the naysayers a big fuck off.

Now, onto the soundtrack used, it was interesting. Good songs were used, such as MCR's cover of Desolation Row, which was a good cover don't get me wrong. But in the movie itself (MCR was in the credits) the songs felt.... I dunno off, good for the era it was in, but the timing I think was the part that was off, I dunno I doubt I could do better so who am I to fucking judge.

There were two really cute girls there, the bad part was that I was at the theater with my damned Mother, so I didn't wanna walk over and say hi. I only asked her to come along cause it was her car id've been borrowing. I actually wanted to go alone cause I knew she wouldn't get the movie, and she just annoys me in general, if you knew my mother you would know what I mean.

...

Well, that's it for that, I am going to eat my over cooked steak and potato and mentally review what I have just seen.

Boom, sucka!

I'm sitting here listening to some Rage and thinking of what to type, I always considered Blogs to be places where people talk about themselves and be all emo and shit about whats going on in their lives. Well, FUCK THAT.

Only 2 (T W O) episodes left for Battlestar Galactica... I wish it didn't have to end, im so addicted. BSG is like a Heroine addiction, cant wait for the next fix. Though I have never done Heroin, I think I have a feeling of what it would be like because of BSG. Talking about my previous post about X-Box LIVE... I found out I could download BSG episodes, my addiction only grew for both things at that moment. It sucks as the episodes cost 160 Microsoft points (fucking money hungry bitches), but I gotta feed the addiction.

I need a new job. Fucking economy. I'm sick of being a cashier for a grocery store.

I want to learn a instrument and join a band, damnit. But it takes alotta will power to be willing to give up things to learn and deal with unparalleled failures for the art.

I really need to stop drinking so much damned soda. I have been eating some salad lately, but I think my body is somehow rejecting it... I don't know, don't ask me how.

...

If you have a 360, and you haven't gotten Fallout 3, then either you don't know what a good game is or you don't deserve your 360. Seriously. Get it, I don't lie when I say it'll blow your mind in its radiance of Atomic awesomeness. I am currently waiting for the next DLC The Pitt, the previous being Operation: Anchorage. Op: Anch. was fun but short and the RPG elements that I knew and loved were only there if you leveled while in the sim, which I did, but otherwise the only real reason to get it is the bonus you get for getting all the Intel cases, im not tellin so it will be a surprise.

But, The Pitt will have the RPG elements in it, and it sounds so awesome. No leveling, but you get an awesome new toy and a perk to go along with it. Look it up, it sounds fucking brutal.

Theres another DLC coming within a month or two of The Pitt, its called Broken Steel, zomg I cant wait! It changes the ending of the original game and adds like 10 levels and adds all kinds of story to it, shit yea.

...

No pr0n today, Blogger is being a bitch. Ill try to give some booby goodness later.

Out with the tide.

So I just woke up and as far as I'm concerned It's a new day, so I'm going to post again.

I am so fucking in love with my X-box It's disgusting, really... I shouldn't love this console this much but I do! At the moment I'm in between games, just trying to get achievements and shit for what i got got and waiting for Dragon Age: Origins to come out the 24th (can't fucking wait!). I love Bioware so much, man. They have, as far as I'm concerned they've never failed to bring the quality.

This: "Dragon Age: Origins is the spiritual successor to BioWare's critically acclaimed Baldur's Gate, featuring deep character customization and role-playing, morally challenging decisions, tactical party-based combat, and a wealth of gritty, mature sub-plots. It is a dark, heroic fantasy game that combines original storytelling techniques with classic role-playing challenges. In Dragon Age, your choices change the world and affect the people around you. Certain situations, storylines, and conversation options will change drastically depending on your origin and your motivations. You choose your origin, and from that starting point, your story begins. You play through your character's early days, defining his or her background and motivation and begin to learn more about the world of Ferelden from your own distinct perspective. Your choice of origin defines how you will view the world and how it views you. Choose a sneaky, disrespected commoner and you will play a story that focuses around subtle skills and careful wordplay. Choose a noble origin and the world will be much more positive and helpful, but those jealous of your status will not be afraid to take what you have, violently if necessary." Is basically the idea behind the game, and I have seen a few other things for it, and I am pretty psyched for this game.

Of course, I'll be posting a review of the game when I beat it.

This year has so many games coming out that I want I can't wait for the year to move by faster, Dark Void, [Prototype], and Mass Effect 2 just to name a few. This is going to be a good year... For gaming anyway.

One more thing, if anyone is interested my LIVE tag is: Mortal1x, just how it's spelled there... nothing special.

And now, Megan Fox... Topless!

For my first magic trick...
